What we do.
From the outside looking in you would surmise that we raise, train, and service dogs, facility dogs, and emotional support dogs to individuals, families and organizations. In reality it’s so much more. We provide independence, companionship, stress relief and peace of mind in the form of a furry, four-legged companion chosen just for them.
Why we do it.
Everyone at Top Notch Service Dogs has had their lives touched in some way by a dog. We know what they are capable of. We are here to bridge the gap between a dog with a skill set and a person that needs that dog to enhance the quality of their life.
How we do it.
We start with dogs that are healthy, intelligent, social, possess a good work ethic, and have steady nerves. We don't pick a dog and assign them a job...the dogs "tell" us the job they'd be happiest doing. We combine our high standards in performance with the understanding that service and facility therapy dog owners need well trained dogs that are easy to live with. We have empathy for the families these dogs are placed with. It's easy for us to get the desired behavior, but most families are juggling jobs, kids in school, and plenty of other activities. They will need a dog that knows how to do his job with little or no guidance.
